Tenshin Nasukawa features as the co-main event at the historic Tokyo Dome

Making his first appearance of 2021, Tenshin Nasukawa (41-0, 30 KOs) features as the co-main event at the historic Tokyo Dome, as he will take on Koki Osaki (24-5 1NC, 15 KOs), HIROYA (33-17, 20 KOs), and 1 mystery opponent Mr. X who will be revealed only at the walkout. Osaki is the 2018 J-NETWORK Super Flyweight Champion, 2018 World Muay Thai Council Japan Super Flyweight Champion, and the 2021 Battle of Muay Thai Bantamweight Champion. HIROYA is the 2014 Krush -65Kg Champion. Nasukawa’s last outing was a unanimous decision victory over RISE Eldorado 2021 Champion Shiro Matsumoto 4 months ago (in a rematch from 2019).

The rules of the special match are as follows:

  • Special standing bout
  • No kicks
  • Superman punch, spinning backfist allowed
  • 3 minutes x 1 round per opponent
  • 3 knockdowns in 1 round
  • If Tenshin should suffer a stoppage, the fight is over (e.g. loss vs HIROYA, he will not face X)

Former Lightweight contender and 2019 Lightweight Grand Prix participant Damien Brown will be making his debut in the commentary booth with play-by-play mainstay Joe Ferraro this weekend. Brown enjoyed a 3-fight, 10-month stretch the the promotion, going 2-1 and scoring wins over Daron Cruickshank and the previously undefeated Koji Takeda. His last bout, coincidentally, was against Grand Prix Champion Tofiq Musaev, who will be taking on Roberto Souza for the inaugural title.
