FIGHT CARD

RIZIN MMA Rules 66.0kg / 145.5lb
Mikuru Asakura vs Yutaka Saito

First ever RIZIN Featherweight title match. Asakura came from the streets, Saito came from the Shooto program. The contrast is huge. Both fighters have high fight IQ and dictating the pace will be a huge key factor in this fight. Expect a highly tactical chess like fight.

RIZIN MMA Rules 61.0kg / 134.8lb
Hiromasa Ougikubo vs Kenta Takizawa

Grappler vs Striker. Ougikubo has the technique and experience to face any world class competition. Takizawa has crisp, fast striking and has the significant height and reach advantage. How Takizawa deals with Ougikubo's grittiness will determine the outcome of this fight.

RIZIN MMA Rules 77.0kg / 169.8lb
Ryuichiro Sumimura vs “Let’s” Gota Yamashita

This fight has the potential of heavy fireworks. Sumimura is an aggressive striker and Gota is a brawler with great striking intuition. A memorable fight between these two can definitely shed some light to the RIZIN Welterweight division. No need for judges for this one.

RIZIN MMA Rules 57.0kg / 125.7lb
Saomoto vs Daichi Kitakata

Expect nothing but lightening quick high pace fight with scrambles from these flyweights. Saomoto has the wrestling and physical strength while Kitakata has the striking intuition and overall MMA skills. Kitakata presses forward and Saomoto will shoot. The fun starts from there.

RIZIN Kickboxing Rules 60.5kg / 133.4lb
Taiga vs Yuma Yamahata

Taiga has the speed and experience to dominate Yamahata on paper. However, Yamahata has a wide range of kicks and more so is eager to make a name of himself by beating a big name. The mentality of a hungry fighter is at times the most fierce weapon a fighter can possess.

RIZIN Kickboxing Rules 83.0kg / 183.0lb
Hidenori Ebara vs Isami Sano

Taekwando national Champion Ebata brings his skills into the RIZIN ring. This will be his first professional fight and the focus is all on Ebata, but Sano is no joke as he is coming off of a devastating KO win over Peter Aert's son, and is looking for his highlight pro debut KO
